Our Young Champs programme is aimed at children aged 5-8 who wish to develop the technical aspects of the game in a fun, positive and supportive environment

Through exciting, ball focused activities and age-appropriate challenges we encourage creativitiy, confidence and problem solving, helping every child develop their love for the game while building strong foundations for future development

Our sessions are delivered by UEFA/ FA licensed coaches who are there to support, challenge and guide each child. We pride oursleves on having a consistent coaching team to build continuity and consistency with each child to inspire their learning and development

Our philosophy is focused on building skills that have a positive impact on children's long term development by building key life skills such as resilience, teamwork, leadership and determination

Our Rising Stars programme is designed for players aged 8-12 who are looking to further develop their technical ability, game understanding and confidence in a positive, player-centred environment

With an emphasis on individual ball mastery, decision making and game-related challenges our sessions encourage players to think independently, solve problems and apply their skills in realistic football situations

 

Our UEFA/ FA licensed coaches are there to support, guide and challenge every child, understanding their needs and create a consistent environment for them to learn and grow. We believe that by promoting the key life skills that underpin long term development, such as resilience, leadership, teamwork and concentration, we can positively impact their lives of children both on and off the pitch.

Route into grassroots football teams

Thanks to our partnership with FA affiliated grassroots football club, Walton & Hersham Youth FC, we can also offer children a route into structured team football providing there is space in the relevant age groups

Venue information

Three Rivers Academy - There is free parking on site. Head to the main school entrance and drive all the way around to the far end of the car park where you will see the 3G Astro Pitch.

What to wear

Children must wear suitable footwear for 3G Astro Pitch (football boots- no metal studs) clothing suitable for the weather conditions and bring a bottle of water.

Booking/ Cancellation policy

Sessions are booked in half-term blocks and paid for up front via the website.

If a child is unable to attend a session within a course that has been pre-booked, we cannot offer a refund. However if you wish to cancel your place on a course before the first session has started, you will be given a full refund providing you give at least 7 days notice, so that your place can be offered to another child.

Sessions will go ahead in all weather conditions. However if the weather is deemed extreme or unsafe, the session will be cancelled (no refunds will be offered)

For any sessions cancelled for reasons that are deemed within our control (e.g staff sickness), a full refund will be given.

 

Housekeeping 

Please arrive 5 minutes early to ensure children are ready to enter the pitch for a prompt start. Children are not permitted to enter the pitch until the session has begun.

Behaviour Policy

​It is of paramount importance that children attending our sessions conduct themselves in an appropriate manner.

​

We endeavour to provide the most positive, fun and enjoyable learning environment for all children and any behaviour that compromises this will be taken seriously.

 

Disruptive or disorderly behaviour that is impacting the delivery of our sessions will be handled by discussing with parents and we will strive to implement a supportive approach wherever possible. If the behaviour does not improve in time we reserve the right to remove the child from our sessions and will notify the parents by email should we feel that the child is not benefitting / engaging in the sessions appropriately or is having a disruptive influence on the sessions

Any behaviour that risks the safety of other children (aggressive/ violent) will jeopardise that child's place on our sessions and we reserve the right to remove them immediately from our sessions.
